These are challenging times for everyone. There are many new regulations in place aimed at keeping people safe, however we hope that your experience at The Wellbeing Centre will continue to be as helpful and positive as in
pre Covid-19 times.
Before attending for your appointment
In line with Government guidelines, if you, or a member of your household are experiencing any symptoms of Covid 19
- A temperature, where you feel hot to the touch on your chest or back
- A new continuous cough
- A loss or change in your sense of smell or taste
There are groups of people - the clinically vulnerable and the extremely vulnerable who will need to carefully consider whether their treatment is essential or whether staying at home is still the best action.
When you attend for your appointment
- For the immediate future we will be operating a 'one way system' in the clinic. Depending on which clinic you are attending, it might mean you enter through the studio room and leave via the front door. Your therapist will make it clear with you which entrance they want you to use. This system will allow us to ensure the optimum situation for social distancing and safe movement through the clinic.
- You will be asked to bring a face covering with you.
- You will be asked to wash your hands on entering and leaving the clinic - hand sanitiser will also be available.
- Common use surfaces such as door handles, hand rails will be cleaned regularly during the day, but hand washing facilities and or hand 'sanitizer gel' will be available in all rooms.
- Please attend your appointment alone, or discuss your needs with your therapist.
- Please attend as close to your appointment time as possible, to avoid congestion in the reception area.
- Please bring as little into the clinic as possible.
- If you usually use towels and or blankets during your appointment, your therapist may ask you to bring these with you. We can no longer provide these for you as they need to be single use.
Your individual therapist
Your own therapists, will be registered with a 'governing body'. Their governing body, may insist on additional measures that need to be put in place. Your therapist will discuss this with you before you attend for your appointment.
These are unprecedented times for us all and we must adapt our ways of living and working for the health of everyone. If you have any questions please get in touch.
